Prospector Tents
Prospector tents have a long history with those spending lots of time in the outdoors, a history almost as long as the Indian teepee. The prospector tent was required equipment for all types of expeditions, a home to many during the gold rush, and the first buildings in many North American colonies
They could at one time been seen from the praries to the Rocky Mountains and from California to Dawson City, as men made their way to the Klondike Gold Rush in Alaska.
Today they are not quite as common, but just as practical, and just as warm, and provide a feeling like you, too, are back in the age of the Gold Rush! Each tent can accommodate from 2 to 4 people. It is equipped with double bunkbeds (bring matrasses), table and chairs and a wood stove.
